In an island setting with the quays awash with fishermen and the sea teeming with fishing boats it is natural to expect a day of celebration dedicated to the farmers of the deep.
It has been established that the Fisherman’s Festival be celebrated on the last Saturday of May.

The Cultural Association Keros together with the island fishermen and the rest of the inhabitants organise a feast with music and dancing by traditional music and dance groups and many fish and seafood delicacies, rakomelo and wine offered to everybody present.

The feasting starts at sunset at the marina and lasts till everybody drops.
