Furthermore, distances on the island can be covered on foot, by small boats that make frequent runs to the beaches and by bicycles that are rent here. The cost of hiring a small boat to go to Kato Koufonisi is reasonable. Apart from this, sometimes the hospitable residents of the island are willing to transfer you to the distant beaches of Koufonisia.
